About Insider For Hire

Most career advice comes from one of two places: a template, or a friend who means well but hasn't actually sat on the other side of the hiring table. We built Insider For Hire because we wanted something different — coaching that combines real recruiting and hiring insight with the kind of honest, human guidance you'd get from someone who's genuinely in your corner.
We're Lauren and Allie. Between us, we've spent our careers on both sides of the table — building and scaling recruiting teams inside hypergrowth tech companies, coaching sales teams to their best years, and helping hundreds of professionals figure out what's actually next for them. We started Insider For Hire because we kept watching talented people get overlooked for roles they deserved, or land roles they later realized weren't right for them. We wanted to flip the script: give candidates the insider knowledge and the personal clarity to navigate the system on their own terms.
How we work
Career change is rarely just a logistics problem, and it's rarely just a mindset problem either — it's usually both at once. So that's how we coach: strategy and structure on one side, clarity and confidence on the other.
That might look like finding direction when you're not sure what's next, building a job search plan that replaces overwhelm with momentum, rebuilding your footing after a layoff or burnout, breaking into a new field, or getting ready for your first executive seat. Whatever the transition, you'll leave with both the tactical assets — resumes, positioning, interview prep, LinkedIn strategy, negotiation scripts — and the emotional clarity to actually use them well.
